Everyone,
Your life is not about you. You are here to serve the Lord. I know this sounds totally contrary to the current beliefs of this world we live in. Seriously, what’s the point of doing what you want if it doesn’t give you salvation? The Lord always says that you need to do his will, not yours. We try to convince ourselves that doing what feels right to you is what you should do. Your feelings can and will betray you time and time again. If you align yourselves with God’s will, you will get graces from him and live life with faith, hope and charity. We must grow up and give up our childish nature of thinking of ourselves.
The Lord said:
“Amen, amen, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to dress yourself and go where you wanted; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” (John 21:18)
